It has been a productive and exciting August for the Zilliqa ecosystem. The major highlight from the last month was the formation of the Zilliqa Group, a corporate structure that unlocks a framework for integrated ventures building exciting solutions on the Zilliqa network. "With the innovative and promising ventures operating under the group’s umbrella, we feel this new approach will lead to a compounding effect for Zilliqa’s growth and drive more transaction volume on the Zilliqa blockchain as we build out use cases that take advantage of our network’s best features," says Matt Dyer, Zilliqa Group CEO. This month also continued development of Zilliqa 2.0, including a new proposal to introduce a hybrid consensus mechanism as the blockchain takes its first steps towards adopting Proof-of-Stake.
