Big changes have been proposed around consensus and SSNs on the #Zilliqa network and are now open for voting on the governance portal.
The first proposal aims to introduce hybrid consensus to the network, with SSNs being incorporated as participants to improve security and decentralisation.

The second proposal also focuses on SSNs, adding important features related to commission rates and the proposed hybrid consensus.

Exciting developments are in motion concerning consensus and Staked Seed Nodes (SSNs) within the Zilliqa network, and two new proposals are now open for voting on Snapshot that aim to deliver major improvements to the network.
The first proposal introduces a new hybrid consensus mechanism to our network, incorporating SSNs as participants to elevate security and decentralisation on the road to Zilliqa 2.0
